Prior to first use, place the solar item in an area where the solar panel receives the maximum amount of full, direct sunlight. Allow the solar light to charge fully for at least 8 hours before initial use. Ensure the ON/OFF switch is set to the ON or FLASH position. Solar lights require adequate sunlight to function properly, and extended periods of cloudy weather may result in shorter runtimes. Avoid placing the solar panel in shaded areas, as this will affect performance.

TROUBLESHOOTING

Check that the unit is switched to the ON or FLASH position. Ensure the light is facing the desired direction and that there are no nearby reflective light sources, such as street lights or verandah/outdoor lights, that may interfere with the sensor. Ensure the solar panel is free from dirt or dust that could prevent it from absorbing sunlight. If the rechargeable battery has reached the end of its life cycle, replace it with a new one.
